The following programs have been implemented by the Kuliyapitiya West Divisional Secretariat for the control of coronavirus and social coordination.
- Arrangements have been made to supply the medicines and the medicines of the people in the respective areas by the Grama Niladhari and Economic Development Officers in charge of the medicines.
- Launching of mobile services by co-operatives to supply food items to the people of the division.
- Opening of small scale retail outlets in each village to obtain essential food items and supervision by the Grama Niladari to prevent people from gathering.
- Arrangements to provide essential food items continuously to the people of the domains.
- Organizing activities to meet the drinking water requirement of the area.
- Expedite distribution of essential items to needy families.
- Publish on the website information related to preventing the spread of the virus and the relief information provided to the public through the office.
- Opening of the Divisional Secretariat 24 hours a day to facilitate the people of the area.
